Who We Are
Richmeier Therapeutic Home applies a person-centered approach to youth care through the use of the Teaching Family Model. Our Ohio Department of Jobs and Family Services (ODJFS) licensed group homes are community-based programs that are able to service high-risk boys (typically ages 11-19) with severe emotional and behavioral issues, within a family style setting. Our 24-hour monitored supervision, social skills instruction, personal relationships, and motivational systems all work together as we house our youth within a neighborhood, allowing them to attend public schools and learn to function in the community. Many of our youth could only be cared for in a more restrictive residential setting prior to coming to our program.
Our Youth-Centered Philosophy...
builds solid, caring relationships as we invest in knowing our youth and their families.
Our Tailored Service Delivery...
is evident to our stakeholders in the integrated development of RTH programs, approaches, and interventions.
Our Trauma Informed Care Program Is Crafted...
to meet the highest-quality licensing and CARF Accreditation Standards, and specializes in the proven Teaching Family model.
"Youth is a quality, not a matter of circumstances."
